The lodge was spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped for a fantastic stay, including dishwasher, washing machine, washing line, towels and bath robes. Being unfamiliar with the area there were leaflets available recommending local attractions which helped us plan what to do during our stay. Although there are 10 lodges on the site, our lodge felt private and secluded, and we appreciated the hot tub in the evening after returning from a day out. I would recommend this site and wouldn’t hesitate to book again, thank you for a lovely break. read less - 09/09/2023

Lots to... read moreJust back from a short break with my husband. We went for his birthday. This is a wonderful location for using as a base to discover the area. Lots to see and do. We had a lodge with a hot tub. The lodge was very nice, clean almost a home from home. The site manager Sharon was really friendly and helpful and we even met her companion Ted the six month lab. Over all I would rate the location and the lodges 10/10 and we will be going back I’m sure. Only next time with out the dog so we can enjoy the many water activities the area has to offer. read less - 25/08/2023

In the lodge dogs are not aloud on the sofa as per the manual I red on arrival however we found all the cushions in the lodge had lots of dog hair on! The rest of the lodge was clean and pleasant but the dog hair on the cushions let it down. read less - 03/07/2023

The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything needed for a break away. Towels were provided, lovely bathroom products (shampoo etc), dishwashing items (teatowels, washing liquid etc) none of which I was expecting as it was self catering. And the locally produced apple juice that was there on arrival was lovely. We went to the National Arboretum at Westonbirt, Slimbridge, Gloucester, a couple of local garden centres and a couple of local walks. I can't recommend highly enough the lodges and the area. read less - 01/10/2022
