Avoids doing what was agreed over the phone or via email. Worst stay ever, lady did not deliver what was agreed, did not do any thing to rectify what was agreed. Was only interested in the money. Like to also poo t out they have no terms and conditions and make them up as they go along. Not terms provided at booking and nothing on web site . Be ware if anything goes wrong you will get all the nice words but nothing to back it up. This will be taken down or edited I am sure. Avoid this place. 
Fabulous family group venue. A beautiful, peaceful location and a lodge that had everything we needed. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Sharon couldn’t have been more thoughtful and with our daughter getting married from the lodge, she went out of her way to help us. Would definitely recommend for a family wedding group. It worked perfectly. The hot tub was a lovely relaxing way to let the wedding prep stress fade away! 
Lovely location First and foremost, please ignore my first review, I wish I could delete or edit it. Lovely location and quiet. Unfortunately the cabin was very dark, no tumble dryer, we needed this for a 2 week stay, no freezer, just an ice box at the top of a large fridge, cooker hob very difficult to use as it was extremely difficult to see the plus and minus signs for heat. Sharon kindly sent me a photo of the ice box with a mug inside, unfortunately the mugs are tiny and I didn't know how small they were. Very difficult staying for 2 weeks without a freezer. I have to prepare all my own food as I have IBS and there's a fair bit I can't tolerate. There are washing lines, which I found unusual but I had to ask for pegs. The bathroom definitely needed updating. What I can't fault is the bed, extremely comfortable, the cleanliness and Sharon, Sharon was very helpful. 
Not the best, we won't return The lodge we stayed in was clean on arrival and a very comfortable bed and the location beautiful, unfortunately these were the only good points. We stayed for 2 weeks but there was no tumble dryer, no freezer (I did check if there was a freezer and received a photo of the ice box at the top of the fridge. A mug was placed in it and I thought I'd be able to manage to work with it for a fortnight, I make all our own food so need a freezer, unfortunately when we got there we saw how tiny the mugs are. I struggled for the whole time we were there). A dryer was definitely needed, particularly staying for 2 weeks, and a freezer. There are washing lines but I had to ask for pegs, that's not something I would have packed. I also had to chip the ice off in the ice box, I'm glad I had a wooden spatula. I didn't really feel I was on holiday. The cabin definitely needed updating. The shower screen was falling apart, the bath mat had mould on it and the shower was very hard to control but just using the taps, it took a long time to get the right temperature. The cooker hob wasn't the easiest to use as it was extremely difficult to see the plus and minus signs as it was so dark, even with lights on. The mugs and side plates were way too small. Finally the cabin was very dark and we had to use the light most of the time. I'm afraid we won't be returning. 
Glorious As a weekend getaway, this was perfect! Beautiful lodges with every facility available and in immaculate condition. We were lucky enough to go at Xmas and it felt magical! The hot tub was glorious. I highly recommend Ford Farm Lodges for a relaxing break in a beautiful location. 
Appalling customer service I visited Ford Farm Lodges during February. Unfortunately the heating system would not switch off during our stay and despite my attempts to contact the manager I was advised an engineer would be unable to attend to fix the problem as it was ‘the weekend’. There was no attempt to move us to a different lodge or offer any other solutions. The lodge was uncomfortably warm which tarnished our stay. I emailed on the day of departure requesting a refund but this was declined with manager Sharon suggesting I had not escalated the problem enough. Thankfully after contacting hoseseasons I have been issued a refund but just to warn others - if you stay at Ford Farm over a weekend and have a problem - it’s likely to not be rectified.
